About

ABOUT ME

I am a trained and certified physical therapist, based just outside of Philadelphia, in Haverford, PA, and the proud founder of All Square Physical Therapy. We specialize in rehabilitation and injury prevention involving rotational sports, with a special focus on golf.

I fell in love with the game of golf growing up in Bryn Mawr, PA, playing on the varsity team at Radnor High School. I developed a deep appreciation for the sport’s ability to challenge, excite, and unite people of all skill levels and all ages. After completing my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and earning my Doctor in Physical Therapy at Neumann University, I began to look for ways to blend my career with my passion for golf.

I began my professional career working for a large, community-based health care system in the Philadelphia area. I worked with a wide variety of clients and mastered my understanding of the human body and how it is intended to move. I became a vestibular therapy expert, exploring concepts related  to the balance required to compete in rotational sports like golf. I also completed a certification in the
Titleist Performance Institute, becoming a Level 2 Medical Provider, studying the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries experienced on the golf course or by golfers looking to get their swing back in action.

GOALS

All Square's Goals

The mission at All Square Physical Therapy is to assist in the development and extension of the game of golf, by aiding the recovery of clients who have played the game for months, years, or decades. Whether that injury came from your golf swing, an off-the-course accident, or simply from the wear-and-tear oflife, my aim is to have you playing without pain and in the right position to play your best golf.
My education and career have led to a unique understanding of how a person’s body intends to move, how to compensate movement if the primary method is not available; coupled with a deep understanding of the golf swing.
My passion is to combine this knowledge to rehabilitate, train, and prevent injuries to golfers of all ages, skill levels, and competitive desires.

Our clients:
- Competitive youth, high school, and college golfers
- Elite/professional players
- Senior golfers
- New and developing golfers of all ages
- Groups, outings, and golf teams
- Golfers with other sports/activities in their past
- Adaptive golfers

Adaptive Golf
I currently participate as one of the primary assessors within the United States for adaptive golf. I became involved with the Philadelphia GAP Adaptive Tour, performing physical assessments for golfers
seeking certification to play competitively within adaptive golf. I have assessed and worked alongside golfers with neurological dysfunction, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, short stature, and additional physical impairments allowing a person to qualify for the adaptive sport.

Testimonials

"I had lost flexibility particularly in the upper torso which restricted my turn to some degree. In fact, my teaching pro’s main point of emphasis for me was to turn and to not slide. Nick listened to my goals and challenges and developed a series of exercises that directly addressed my issues as well as helping to improve my overall physical fitness, which helped to increase my swing speed by 3 to 5  mph… or about 10 yards of added distance with my driver."

Llanerch Country Club, 40+ years of golf experience

"I am an avid golfer and needed back surgery and I wanted a Titleist Performance credentialed therapist to help me recover my golf game after surgery. Nick was fantastic in helping me set goals, perform my PT safely and set up a great phase-in program to get back to my normal quality of life and playing 18 holes within 4 months. Nick got to know me and what was important to me.  He kept pushing me and expanding my exercise routine which gave me confidence."

Applebrook Golf Club, 40+ years of golf experience

"I would describe the care and services I received during sessions as the epitome of individualized and personalized care. I felt as though I had Nick’s full, undivided attention for our entire session. What stood out most to me was the level of detail included in Nick’s education and teaching, no stone was left unturned. Nick ensured that I had a firm understanding of the concepts he was relaying, as well as how I could implement change."
